Our Coast-R Webinar Series is now live!

Two puffins talking

We launched a series of informative monthly webinars on different aspects of coastal resilience back in May. Read on for details of our next session and how to access recordings of our previous sessions.

Each webinar consists of two or more speakers, and aims to bring a range of perspectives and experiences to a wider audience on a monthly basis. Over 100 people from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds signed-up to the first two sessions with a number of participants also joining the Coast-R Network members.

Coast-R May Webinar

At our first session on 14th May, Dr. Marta Meschini of the University of Liverpool and Dr. Elina Apine of the University of St. Andrews spoke about their work on a project funded by NERC and SMMR in a session entitled ‘Co-Benefit Solutions for Resilient Coasts’.  We were also joined by Dr. Emma McKinley of Cardiff University, who spoke on the topic of ‘Ocean Literacy Strategies for Engaging Communities in England and Wales’.
