Professor Andy Plater is chair of Coastal Geomorphology and Environmental Change at the University of Liverpool. He has more than 35 years research experience in coastal dynamics and environmental change.
He has interdisciplinary expertise in coastal and maritime research for low carbon innovation and net zero energy projects, and in the development of tools and model applications to support coastal stakeholders in managing climate change adaptation.
