I’ve worked in coastal management for over 30 years mainly in a local authority but have been fortunate enough to also work on a number of European and research projects. I’m now working for Our Future Coast, one of a suite of projects funded by DEFRA to look at how we support coastal resilience.
My particular specialist areas are the management of coastal defence, especially Shoreline Management Plans and how we monitor and understand coastal processes to inform our decision making.
